Quilt With Confidence™ gives you a clear path through patchwork and quilting, with the skills taught in the right order, close-up demonstrations, and real help whenever you get stuck, so you can stop second-guessing yourself and start making quilts you're genuinely proud to finish.
Maybe you've watched plenty of YouTube videos and picked up lots of useful bits and pieces, but they've never quite joined together into one clear, dependable process.
Or perhaps you simply want to stop wondering whether you're doing it "properly" and know that, when something goes wrong, there's someone you can ask.
That's exactly what Quilt With Confidence™ is designed for.
It's a structured eight-week live programme that helps you bring all those separate pieces together. You'll work through clear, pre-recorded lessons at your own pace, then join me each week for live Q&A coaching so you can ask questions, show me what's happening with your own work and get help before a small problem turns into a frustrating one.
You'll be learning alongside a small group of other quilters at the same stage, with me guiding you through the process and helping you understand not just what to do, but why, so the skills start to make sense and become skills you can use again on future quilts.
Your project? A beautiful set of modern placemats and a coordinating table runner: manageable enough to learn on, but with plenty of opportunities to practise the essential skills you'll use again and again in quilting.
By the end, the aim isn't simply to have finished one project. It's to feel far more certain about what you're doing, know how to spot and fix problems, and feel ready to keep quilting without constantly second-guessing yourself.
- 1. Crystal-clear video lessons you can follow at your own pace
No more pausing and rewinding YouTube tutorials in a panic, or feeling like everyone else understands something you don't. Every lesson in Quilt With Confidence™ is beautifully broken down into calm, bite-sized steps, so you always know exactly what to do next, and you always feel like you're winning.
- 2. A teacher who truly has your back every stitch of the way
There's something incredibly reassuring about knowing you're not doing this alone. I am warm, patient, and genuinely invested in every single one of my students. I'm the kind of teacher who notices when you're struggling and knows exactly what to say to get you back on track and smiling again.
- 3. The pride of finishing something beautiful - and calling yourself a quilter
That moment when you step back, look at what your own two hands have created, and feel that quiet little thrill of pride? That's what this is really all about. My students describe it again and again - and it never gets old.
Nearly 20 years ago, I bought a bundle of pre-cut squares from eBay, full of excitement...and then had absolutely no idea what to do with them. (I still have some of them today. True story. 😄)
A few years later I signed up for a year-long quilting course. It was too long, too much, and honestly too overwhelming. Our teacher even forgot to teach us how to cut a square! And yet, despite all of that confusion, I fell completely and utterly in love with patchwork and quilting. I'd finally found my place in the sewing world.
I've sewn since I was eight years old - fifty years ago now - but making clothes never really called to me, and upholstery left me cold. It was actually a cross-stitch design I'd made as a centre panel for my daughter's bedroom cushion that led me to patchwork for the first time. And I never looked back.
But that overwhelming first experience taught me something really important: something that has shaped everything I've done since.
How was I supposed to choose fabrics for a big quilt when I didn't yet understand how it all worked? How was I supposed to learn complex skills when I hadn't yet mastered the simple ones? I couldn't. Nobody could.
So when I opened my own shop and started teaching, I developed my own step-by-step approach from scratch. I always start students on small, achievable projects first - building skills and confidence together, one satisfying step at a time - before moving on to the bigger, more complex things. It's the teaching method I wish I'd had at the beginning. And it changes everything.
After losing my mum, I made a decision: life is for living joyously. So I left my career in marketing, opened my own quilt shop, and eventually moved everything online after Covid, where I discovered I could reach and teach so many more people than I ever could from a physical shop.
Today, I've been teaching patchwork and quilting for over ten years. I hold a City & Guilds qualification in Patchwork & Quilting, my YouTube channel has had over 750,000 views, and I've helped hundreds of beginners go from nervous and confused to confidently calling themselves quilters.
But here's why I really teach.
Because I know exactly what it feels like to sit in front of a pile of beautiful fabric with no idea where to begin. I know the overwhelm, the self-doubt, and the quiet worry that maybe quilting just isn't for people like me.
And I know - because I've seen it happen again and again - that with the right guidance, the right structure, and a teacher who genuinely has your back, every single one of those feelings melts away.
That's exactly why I created Quilt With Confidence™. Not just to teach you to quilt - but to give you the calm, the clarity, and the confidence to fall in love with it, just like I did.

If you dive in, start the lessons, and genuinely feel it isn't right for you right now - simply drop me an email and I'll give you a full refund. No awkward conversations, no hard feelings.
All I ask is that you give it a fair try: show that you've completed the first few lessons and let me know why it isn't the right fit. That's it.
So go ahead and enrol with confidence - your investment is completely protected.
This isn't just a set of videos. You get every technique broken down step by step, a full library of guides to work alongside them, and access that doesn't disappear after eight weeks. So unlike an in-person class, you can come back and rewatch a tricky bit as many times as you need, whenever life gets in the way.
And then there are the weekly live calls, which is the bit my students mention again and again. One told me she'd assumed the price felt like a lot too, until she saw the depth of what was actually inside. Another said, quite honestly, that it wasn't cheap and took real commitment. But finishing with a table runner and matching mats she was properly proud of made it one of her best decisions. That's what the live calls give you: real answers to your "am I doing this right?" moments, not just a video left to gather dust.
So yes, it's a proper investment, not a casual one. I'd rather be upfront about that than pretend otherwise.
My YouTube videos are made with love for my community, but they're relatively random weekly uploads, not a structured learning journey. There's no logical progression, no one checking in on you, none to help you break through the mental and emotional blocks (trust me, they happen) and the 'but this has just happened' type questions. And there is no guarantee that what you watch this week connects to what you watched last week.
Quilt With Confidence™ is completely different. Everything is carefully sequenced, so each lesson builds on the last, nothing is missed out, and you always know exactly where you are and what comes next. It's the difference between wandering around a new city with no map and being guided by someone who knows every street.
You could keep watching YouTube and hoping it clicks. Or you could follow a clear, structured path — and be holding your finished placemats and matching table runner in about eight weeks.
But here's what I want you to hear.
You've been thinking about learning to quilt for a while now, haven't you? Maybe it's been months. Maybe it's been years. There's something about it that keeps calling you back: the beautiful fabrics, the idea of making something with your own hands, the thought of sitting quietly and creating something that will last.
That's not a passing fancy. That's you - the creative, capable, curious 'you' who deserves a hobby that's entirely your own.
And I know what the voice in your head might be saying right now. "What if I can't do it? What if I waste the money? What if I fall behind? What if everyone else is better than me?"
I've heard every single one of those worries, because every person who has ever sat down in my virtual classroom has felt exactly the same way before they started. Every single one.
And every single one of them made something beautiful.
Imagine sitting down at your machine - calm, confident, knowing exactly what to do next. Imagine the moment you hold up your finished table set and feel that quiet little thrill of pride. Imagine wrapping up something you made with your own hands to give as a gift, or laying your table with something beautiful that YOU created.
That's not a dream. That's what's waiting for you on the other side of this decision.
You have what it takes. You really do. And I'll be right there with you - every stitch of the way.
The only question is - are you ready to begin?
Kim
xx
